Computer won't boot up after restart

Recently, my computer (which has been working perfectly ever since i got it) started not to boot after i restarted it. Nothing appeared on the screen, so i restarted it two or three more times and then in worked, but then i get the unmountable boot volume error. I know how to fix that problem but every time i get the restart problem i get this problem too. It's been getting very annoying always repairing the unmountable boot volume so can u please tell me what might be the problem, why my computer won't boot up after a restart or shut down. I'm sorry if u already treated this problem in another in another thread but i am desperate and if so please give me the address of the thread.

First off I would run the manufacturer's diagnostic on your hard drive.

Along with this you should run Check Disk by going to start Run...

    Type: cmd

Then in the command prompt type: chkdsk /f

You will be told the volume is in use do you want to run chkdsk on next boot?

    Type Y and reboot.

The hard-drive is just one of the problem. Every time I restart my computer instead of booting normally, the computer beeps three times and the monitor stays black. After one or two more restarts it boots normally but errors appear on the hard-disk. I will change the hard drive but I need to solve the problem concerning the restarts because the new hard drive might become the same after a few more restarts. So the real problem i am concerned with is that after a restart, i have to restart the computer one or two times before it boots normally again.

    Adytzusan,

I had many problems with my computer at one time. I cured it by removing all my memory sticks and reseating them. Why this should work I have no idea? Not much help to you but give it a bash.

    regards

Depending on your BIOS those three beeps are trying to tell you what is wrong at that point.

Perhaps: 3 short Base 64K RAM failure

Another common hardware failure with these symptoms is a failing Power Supply Unit.
