I use my Logitech USB headset, hooked to the front of my computer and it works fine.

I plug my external speakers into the back of my computer in the sound card and there is not a sound.

I plug those same external speakers into my Ipod and they work fine.

Do I have something set wrong or what? Where do I check? The speakers did work at one time. Could it be the sound card even though the head sets work?

Check the sound driver on your computer or maybe the sound card could be bad....

Those are the two I would go for....
