hi...i am having a problem i having install my audio driver but i am still having problem...can any one help???

have you altered hardware or software recently about the same time as the problem occurred?

it will some times work...but most of the time it dont work...yes i did install and uninstall a software from creative but after tat i have reformatt my com but the problem still there...

is the sound on board or a sound card?

if it's on board is it enabled in the BIOS?

its board...but i dont know anything about BIOS...

what was the creative software you disabled?

have you tried right clicking on the device with the yellow question mark.

click on unistall then restart the machine to see if it can find the drivers

its a mp4 program from creative...i did try to unistall it and search for driver...but it still cant work...

Your third screenshot shows that there's no audio device installed. The entry you've highlighted in the Device Manager does look to be the audio device, called Vinyl by VIA.

Download and install the latest driver from HERE.

Right click on the Vinyl AC'97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM) entry in the Device Manager and select properties. What does it say in the Device status box?
