Hello

I have a problem with my pc , its using an intel motherboard, all hdds are seagate 7,200 rpm baracudda. I have winxp installed with service pack 2 installed with all the updates.
Anytime the system feels like it slips int PIO Mode and it becomes slow. or a blue screen appears and windows crashes.

I found this article on http:\\www.michna.com/kb/WxDMA.htm but it hasnt helped, does anyone know what is happening and how to fix it?

It is very comprehensive and as of now I cannot find anything to add but will keep looking.
