how do i speed up my comp im using xp i have 760 mb ram a 40 GB HD and was wondering how i could speed up my computer and my internet and also i was wondering if some1 could tell me y after a few hours i have to restart my computer because internet wont let me connect and i was juss wondering if thts normal or how to fix it

Before I take the time to review that data (which may take some time) are you seriously interested in upgrading your hardware? Is this something that you would do yourself?
Also what is you specific ISP connection? Cable? DSL? Do you know the specific speed it runs at (or claims to)?
