Question PC Screen has no red?

I have blue, gray, white and most certainly yellow but no hint of red. My eyes are killing me! What did I do wrong? Does this just happen sometimes? How can I fix this boo boo? Please Help if you are familiar with this weird problem.

    Gratefully, ENaidme

If the problem is new you could try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

If that doesn't help you could try uninstalling and reinstalling your graphics drivers.

Have you checked your settings under the Control Panel > Display > Settings > Color

Also does the monitor have it's own settings buttons and or menu?

I will try it! It was great to get a response so soon. I'm the new kid on the block here and just learning to navigate on the site. I appreciate the input favorably. Thank You for all the tips. I'm going to give it a shot, wish me luck. "Learning all the time"!

I still can't get red and I'm thinking I need to buy a new monitor. If a computer screen does not have red, does that mean the monitor is blown away beyond help. I've tried everything I believe and nothing seems to work to retrieve the color red back on screen. Please advise!!!!

If you can borrow another monitor that would be a good test as to whether it is a monitor problem rather than a driver or setting problem.
