my monitor has a black screen,when my computer is truend on.. I installed a new video card, but cant get my computer to boot up

Are you sure that the card is seated properly? If it has it's own power connector did you power it?

Are you sure the card is compatible with the motherboard and the rest of the hardware?

If you put back the old card is all OK?
