Hi all. I hope someone can help.

I am trying to setup a webcam, but after the installation when the computer restarts, there is no 'found new hardware wizard' that appears for me to complete the setup. I do not know how to find this manually. This is very frustrating.

I presume that the wizard is supposed to appear automatically?

Can anyone help?

If it is a USB connection try plugging it in with the computer running.

Is it detected then?

You know what? It turned out that I didn't need the wizard anyway. For some reason I managed to set up without it. I cannot remember what I was doing wrong now, but it eventually came on. I know that won't be particularly helpful to anyone searching these threads with the same problem, but now I don't remember what I did, but it turns out I didn't need the wizard. Seems it isn't neccesary for everyone.

I do in fact think it may have been something to do with the USB.
