    Hi and welcome to D-A-L

if you alter the time when the machine is running does it keep good time?

it may well be that the CMOS battery has gone.

the battery is maybe a button cell and only cost about £2.00

the battery is simple to change it's a button cell that are sold in most PC shops. normally it's a CR2032

to change just look on the mothereboard its about the size of a 10p.

make sure you grounded with the power turned off, remove battery and replace power up the machine and reset the clock etc
