Hello DAL
Recently I bought a 1 GB DDR2 Ram for my computer. I plugged in and when i turn on my computer the entire screen just changed more yellow. Not only after getting into windows XP, but also on the first screen when you turn on the computer, it seems yellower. any help? Thank you!

P.S. I checked properties in my computer, and the RAM memory DID changed. so...

Well, I fixed the color issue, but I am not sure if my new RAM is working properly? How can I check?
I didn't do any configuration after I plugged it in, I just simply turned my computer on and in the properties it appears that i have upgraded, but i didn't do any config, is it necessary? My model is a VAIO VGC-RA840G Thanks

Does the monitor have buttons to adjust the settings?

RAM is automatically detected. There is nothing to do unless you are considering overclocking it or altering the voltages. This is all done in the BIOS Setup if your motherboard supports it.
