I have switch my computer on this moring to find the sound has stopped working(but not system sounds)I can not play music etc.

I have tried everything, I lokked in system dvices and it is tell ing me everything is working correctly.


please help!!!

Try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > System Tools > System Restore

Try these two steps:

1. Go to Start and Run, and type - services.msc
Scroll down to Windows Audio and make sure it's Started

2. Get this patch from MS, install it and reboot.
