I have recently bought a Compaq presario v6000 laptop, which I am very pleased with !
However , when i put certain cd-r's in its telling me the disc is blank ,when i know it isnt because it works on my other computer and had worked in the lap top last week.

Can some help me solve this problem??

maybe the cd reader is faulty on the laptop, have you asked the manufacturer about taking a look at it? it's possible that it has become faulty while you have had it, but you never know.
