I have java and macromedia flash on my desktop PC. Up untill the other day movies would play without a problem on You Tube (some other sites also dont work properly). However now they wont and im being told - Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player.
Now I have both turned on and both working so can anyone suggest why they have stopped working and how I fix my PC and can see video.

Uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control:
