hey all could someone please help me here when i turn on my laptop the icons don't appear..and like after 5-10 minutes they appear.
Can someone tell my why this happens and how to prevent it??

that often happens when there is utility running at startup, that takes much RAM. start-> run- > msconfig -> start up.
check utilities u're running at startup.

Whatever, if those doesn't plug-out ur HDD and set it slave to another PC.
and run any diagnostic utility (there are lot's of in google search engine).
