Password dialog box?
Is there a way to manually bring up the "do you want windows to remember this password" dialog box?
It comes up automatically when you first enter a new username and password, but if you click no at that time it never comes back again.
I am wanting my computer to remember a password for a site I visit often.

Internet Explorer: Go to Tools | Internet Options and on the Content tab click the Auto Complete button. Settings >
Set Prompt me to save passwords.
If this is already set then deleting your cookies for the site in question will probably work.

It is already checked.
How do you delete cookies for a specific site?
-
CCleaner is perhaps easier than IE.
http://www.ccleaner.com/
Go to Options > Cookies
Here can can select cookies to Save and cookies to delete.
In IE7 it is under Internet Options > Browsing History > Delete
Here you can delete all cookies. To pick and choose you need to open your Temporary Internet Files.
General > Browsing History > Settings > View Files

I have IE7 and have deleted "all cookies", but the save password box still won't pop up when I enter my username and password, it just logs on to the site. I remember it popping up the first time I logged onto the site and I clicked no, it just won't come up again.
I just thought maybe there was a way to do it manually.

You could try Internet Options > Advanced > Reset
Am looking for manual settings but haven't found anything yet.
Did you close and re-open IE after clearing cookies? Or delete cookies outside of IE via start > Control Panel > Internet Options

I restarted my computer, then cleared the cookies, then tried it and it worked.
Thanks for the help.
