I tried synch'ing my laptop with some of the folders on the network at work that I use often out of the office. I choose three directories, each of which have multiple subdirectories under them. I set up the offline files following the directions and the files were copied onto my laptop.

Imagine my surprise when I went to look at these folders and found that all the files, although copied, had been placed in one directory - the directory structure from the network was completely gone. Additionally, I figured that while this appeared moronic (does any zip app destroy the directory structure? how about a content management system, such as CVS or Subversion? Of course not.), I could still survive by arranging the files by Location (which shows their directory structure on the network) and then coping once into folders, which would remain.

However, I was not able to create new folders in the offline folder, so I am stuck with several hundred files in one folder, and I have difficulty finding anything.

What I would like to do is to use offline files, but when they are copied to my laptop, they remain in the same directory structure from the network. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.
