My computer is not recognizing my printer. I have had the printer for 6 months and it has worked perfectly. I went to print an excel document and all of a sudden the printer was no longer on my computer as a print option. I re-installed the drivers and tried again and there was still no recognition. I did a complete re-installation of the hard drive and OS. The printer worked when I quit last night and when I turned it back on this morning the printer was no longer recognized.

will your computer recognise any other USB devices?

if you go to the control panel and double click priners and faxes, does anything show up?

do you get any error messages when trying to install the printer?
