Please can someone help me!!?

When i am on my computer and i scroll down or up the page it dosent scroll smoothly. Instead it goes in 'waves'. Does anybody know how to fix it?. Do i have to change a setting for my mouse?

Its driving me crazy.

thanks but do i need to have it switched on or off? as have just tried both and it doesnt seem to fix it? ahhhhhhhhh, or do i need to restart my comp to make the change work?

ok, i'm back again. I restroed my computer and it fixed the problem. However the scrolling wave effect has returned today!!! I tried turning the smooth scroll on and off to no effect.

Any other ideas?

Did the mouse come with a disc? If so you could try updating the driver.
