Bios recognizes cd/rw and dvd/rw, but neither is attainable. Checked in system/devices, found exclamation points on both.
Tried re-installing, message states you have best driver. On trying to asses either one, error message states driver missing or corrupted.
Anyone ????

are you getting any error messages?

if you right click on the drive in device manager go to properties and have a look for an error code (may be like error 39)

Thanks for swift reply. In checking further, found answer on another thread.
MSN trouble report on same problem. "remove upper and lower filters in registry".
Did this automatically with downloaded MSN program. ALL FIXED !!!
