hey at wits end here after trying to sort out this silly littlr problem ive been having with DirectX. basically i am trying to get games to workon my computer but they arent running. i am guessing that it has something to do with thedirect x setup not being right, as every time i try to look at it using the dx diag i get the following message

the procedure entry point GetProcessFlags could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

i also think the direct 3d acceleration part isnt woking either

i have installed graphic drivers from Nvidia for the graphics card and uninstalled then reinstalled direct x ver 9.0c several times and still no luck.

Firstly, go get sp2 & update your system till tonight.

Patch Tuesday is tomorrow, you are a not using sp2 and most problems you encounter will be because of this.
