Hello everyone

Anyone know how to get rid of that annoying Red Balloon that wants you to start up Win Auto Updates please.

I have auto updates 'OFF' in the control panel, but the Red Balloon ALWAYS appears on start-up?

Do you not want the Automatic Updates?

If so you'll have to fetch them monthly as issued usually and you may be missing many already, which I'll advise you to get ASAP.

If you still want to get rid of auto-updates notifications...

Press Winkey+R, type services.msc and hit enter.
Find Automatic Updates towards the top, right-click it and choose Properties.
Under Startup Type, choose Manual.
Below that in Service Status, choose Stop.
Restart and you shouldn't have this balloon nor auto-updates running anymore
