In starting over, I would also like to upgrade my motherboard. I presently have an ASUS P4S333. I mostly do applications like excel, wordperfect, powerpoint and frontpage. I do a bit of gaming but am limited to games like diablo.

Any suggestions on what to buy and maybe a cheap place to buy it?

so i take it you're mainly just using it for extremely basic gaming and such? no heavy video editing or multitasking or download spree type?

i'm personally a fan of Gigabyte. they had a pretty decent motherboard called the Gigabyte GAK8NF or something but i'm not sure if it's still that good or in the market. read about it... beginning of this year i suppose. you can try checking that out cause if you just use it for simple stuff, that should be more then enough.

or you can ask Kazna what board he's getting. that one seems pretty powerful and cheap.
