ok when i turn on the computer the moniters light is green, everything is running good..but hten after 2 seconds the screen goes blank..evrything is still is working..but the screen is blank...if i tun off thee moniterr it comes back for 2secondss but then goes away. can you please help thx...

acully it is not green..its yelloww the color of hte moniterr

If the green light is going to yellow (amber) that means you are going from Signal to No Signal. In this case it is probably not a monitor problem but some other hardware.

Does you computer BEEP when you turn it on?

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously?

What is the make and model of the computer?

well when we saw this problem..we tried to change moniters to see if its the moniter or somehting else...when we put the other moniter it worked fine...when we attached the blank screen moniter to this other computer it kept turning blank...

Sounds like a dead (or dying) monitor.

so there is no way to fix it :[

What is it worth?

Taking it to a shop and having it repaired would cost more than a new monitor unless it happens to be a very high end device then it might be worth repairing.

Any repair would run at least a couple hundred dollars and probably more.

If it is a LCD flat screen most of these have 3 year warranties.
