hi all first post here for me

i have a brand new laptop (3 months old hp pavillion dv1000) and already im having problems

installed IE7 today all was ok but now i have two problems

no:1 every couple of mins i get an error box coming up saying

" the file or directory c:\documents and settings\anthonylowe\local settings\temporaryinternetfiles\content.IE5\SD6NOX MN is corrupt and unreadable.

no.2
tried to download spybot and hijackthis but whenever i try to download something i get another error box saying
"internet explorer cannot download *****"
" internet explorer was not able to open this internet site the rquested site is either unavailable or cannot be found please try again later"

can anyone help

First off go to Tools > Internet Options and choose Delete all Temporary Internet files.

If the problem persists navigate to:

c:\documents and settings\anthonylowe\local settings\temporaryinternetfiles\content.IE5

Select all and delete.

If the problem persists go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and remove IE7

Or run a System Restore to the point prior to installing IE7. This install should have created a Restore Point.

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore
