Red face EventViewer is showing this error???

    Hi all.

Well intermittent but definitely there, I get crashes of different programs at everchanging intervals.

EventViewer at this time shows this log:

    User: N/A
    Computer: POWER-2B8BBB11D
    Description:
wuauclt (3972) An attempt to delete the file

    "D:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\Logs\tm p.edb" failed with

system error 32 (0x00000020): "The process cannot access the file

because it is being used by another process. ". The delete file

operation will fail with error -1032 (0xfffffbf8).

information, see Help and Support Center at

Does anyone have any idea what this is?

I've switched off Widnows Auto Update BTW, even the service. Does it look like I have a parasitic version of it?

Is wuauclt.exe running in your Task Manager?

I would suggest navigating to that file and put it into Move On Boot and reboot.
