Sound Problems

Re: Sound Problems
ohh i think i found it, it says Wieson.
-
All I can see for Wieson is a manufacturer of cables and connector hardware.
If you have opened the case I suggest removing the PCI card and plugging your speakers into the motherboard ports.
Most likely a green plug and port.
Even if you have not opened the case just try moving your plug to the motherboard port.
-
so do i remove the pci sound card?
-
In order to get the drivers for that card you will need to ID the card exactly.
If you can not see a clear label on the card then you could search for anything you might see.
If you remove it then the Intel on-board audio should work.
You will just need to move your speaker jack from the card to the motherboard.
-
ok, i will try moving the speakers
-
ok, let us know how it goes
-
mmm i can't seem to find the jacks on the motherboard
-
You should see three jack ports in a row: Green; Pink; Blue
They would be near the side of the case.
If you have a PCI sound card these jack ports would be more towards the lower center of the case.
If you see only one set of these jack ports then you probably do not have a PCI sound card.
But if you are already on the motherboard then that Intel driver should have worked.

aha! Thanks i've got it! Big help once again, thanks again!
