i moved my music and video files off my c drive to my e drive and now when i try to play some of the videos media player says:

"Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct."

they were fine until i moved them. could they have gotten garbled in the move?
do i have to change some hard drive settings?
the drive i moved them to is a two hard drive scsi raid controlled setup.

if anyone can help i would appreciate it.

I had this problem after moving all of my music to my D drive as C was full. Media player was still looking for everything in the C drive. I had to delete everything in media player and in tools "search for media."
This may not help you as it appears you are only having problems with some files while I was having problems with all of mine.
