a fresh install of xp will get rid of all this malware?

i have considered unbugging the machine but i think if i can re-install xp in under 5 hours that would probably be quicker ...... but ....

is it GAURANTEED to fix my problems

spybot keeps picking up the following

Pipas.A
Zblob
A.N.Otherbloodyvirus

the steps to remove them seem too much for little old me and lots of people seem to have had ongoing problems so

will re installing xp fresh give me a clean slate here?
