Hi Folks,
A friend of mine recently had his XP system disc crash and had to rebuild everything.
In the course of updating he downloaded Windows Media Player 11.
Great new looks etc but a strange thing is now happening with the audio.
He has two DVD/CD players, one reader, one writer.
Both players will play CDs perfectly, no audio problems.
Both players will play DVDs BUT NO SOUND, video only.
The DVDs are standard films and play perfectly on other DVD players.
I had a quick look to make sure his drives were installed and working ok and that he has "allow digital audio on this drive" set, etc, but no joy.
The only real change (because they all worked before the crash) is that Windows Media Player has been upgraded.
Anybody using WMP11 without probs?
Any suggestions please?
