everything starts out fine, a right click to "send to" theres the confirmation "you have files waiting to be written to CD I press "write to cd" then low and behold,it says there is no disc in the drive! this of course is untrue! do you think I may have a conflict? I haven't changed or altered anything that I can remember so wot exactly is wrong?...can you help me?.

is the CD-R blank, is the lens dirty, have you tried a different blank CD?

hi, no I'vr tried a lot of CDs but the problem persists" i still get the message no disc in drive!..its driving me potty apart from the fact i cant burn anything to cd!

no, everything is clean and I've tried other CDs, it still insists there is no CD in the drive although of course there is! its driving me potty apart fromthe fact I cant burn anything to CSD!...help!!

Have you got more than one CD writer or DVD writer in your system?
