Hey everyone, long story short, I have Windows XP, my pc crashed, I repaired it with the Windows XP disc and it's been complete silence from then on. Just in case no, the audio tray doesn't even appear and the pc is not muted so I check the audio devices and it says one of them needs a driver, this one to be exact, "microsoft WINMM WDM audio compatibility driver" which I've tried to acquire but then the stupid microsoft website will block its download cause the signature is not valid. Does anyone know where I could get the drivers I need to make it work?

what make and model is your PC?

Hi, well, I used the cd that came with the pc and that was no help. Also,the pc was bought at a crappy computer place, simply put I don't have the make and model and for the life I don't know how to get the specifications on it.
