When i click on 'my computer' or 'my documents' or any kind of folder. the bottom toolbar dissapears then reappears and nothing happens, i cant even open internet explorer. NEED HELP PLZ THANKS

Try booting into Safe Mode options:

After the power-on and BIOS POST or your Logo screen repeatedly tap the F8 key or hold the Ctrl key before Windows starts.

Choose: Last Known Good Configuration

If that doesn't help try Safe Mode then System Restore to a point prior to the problem.

If that doesn't help can you get into Safe Mode with Networking?

Also do you have your XP CD or if OEM what is the make and model of the computer?
