Hey I had a breaker pop on the plug in my computer was pluged into. When I got it back up I had my cmos reset back to jan 1 2002 and it added a floppy drive i didnt have in computer. I fixed those issues, when I would load up a program or game my computer would just restart automaticlly. I have since formated my hard drive and reinstalled windows xp prof ed. My computer still restarts when i run a program or even upon turning computer on and getting into windows. The 1 error that i did see was that it said IRQL with not equal or less, now ive done alot of research online with this and I see a few diff reasons why. I havent added any new hardware into the computer, everything is about 13 months old, and ive never had a problem with the computer before now. I do have norton system works 2004, but I have to try and reinstall it without having computer restart. Ive done check disk on my hard drive and havent come across any bad sectors at all, ive done online antivirus chesks from microtrend and didnt have anything to be found. I get this error when running a program, or tring to install a program, or even fro, restarting/shutting down my computer.
