Why does my internet keep on disconnecting every 30 seconds for and why does my intenet connection icon keep disappearing from my desk top???????

• what modem are you using?
• are you connecting through a router?
• what ISP are you using?
• do you have broadband or dial up?
• do you get any error messages?
