Cannot get into either WinE or IE at first got the message 'the exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812a5b' now getting the message
'Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.2945, fault address 0x00012a5b' and windows must close.

Have tried registry cleaners, fixers etc to no avail. updated IE from 5 to 7 to no avail and tried to download an updated kernel32.dll file but cannot overwrite it. have run sfc.exe and chkdsk with no success. Everything else seems to be working but cannot access Win E or IE through My Computer or Control panel

Do you have the manual? Did they supply you with Recovery Disks?

Does the manual suggest various Recovery Options?

If so is there a Non-Destructive or Repair Installation option?
