I have a relatively old computor that has been used to connect to the internet. I have only recently understood that temporary internet files clog up the hard disk. I believe this has happened to this computor because it now will not respond when turned on. The power comes on and the hard disk light comes on for about 20 seconds then nothing, monitor stays on standby and nothing boots up. I would be grateful for some advise.
Thank you in anticipation. Simon

I doubt that Temporary Internet files would stop any computer from starting up.
Does the BIOS POST or do you see a Computer or motherboard Logo screen? Or nothing at all? Does the monitor show a No Signal message?
Are you familiar with opening the computer and working inside?
