Somehow I have a vertical bar on right side of desktop that I cannot remove. Silly problem!

Could you explain what the vertical bar is? Are you reffering to the task bar?

It was a whitish bar up and down on the right side of my screen. There were certain file in it that I deleted.

I think it had to do with adobe reader or new Firefox, I instralled updates and it is now gone.
