Everytime i try and install my vertion of windows onto my new hard drive it keeps loading up this DR DOS with i have no idea how to use before it just came up with "press any key to boot from cd" but now its just going right to DR DOS and i cant get any further i have my boot set to load from the cd but for some reson it keeps loading up DR DOS. plaese HELP !!

Do you have a floppy in the floppy drive?

In the same vein you could try the 6 floppy XP boot disks to get to your CD.

thx for help but i should have said at the start its windows xp b4 bit edition im trying to get installed. i am just runing xp home at the moment.

Do you know if your hardware supports the 64 bit version?
