!!Laptop Boots up to XP Screen and stays!!
I have a alienware Area 51 m5550 Notebook, I have had it for a few months now. Last night i was playing Black and White 2 and it was lagging so i thought that if i changed the Priorty to "Realtime" it would run better and not lag. Later i put it on Standby and went to sleep. this morning i woke up turned the computer on and got a error saying that i could try restarting again or delete restore data. i did restart first then the delete.. I started the system up and it went to the windows XP screen and loaded but just stayed there. So i shut it down and tryed Safe mode. which does not work it stops at ....System32/drivers/Mup.sys and wont go down.
I dont want to delete anything because i have alot of things on there that are important. and i didnt back anything up because i did not know this would happen. Also i did the Recent Config that worked, Did nothing. Please help me I worked very hard to get this over the summer, and i dont want it destroyed.
I have the discs it came with too. A Recovery CD, Respawn Cd and a support cd.
Please help me anybody if you know what i can do.

Use the Recovery CD to boot into the Recovery Console:

First try the command FIXBOOT
If that doesn't help next try FIXMBR
