I've had a few problems with my computer from the first month i have bought it. Aparently i can't take it back because it was a day over a month since i bought it. Anyway to cut long story to short, I found out in one of my daily visits to the shop that some of the what i was told I got for my system,i got much less. ie 1gb and got 500 or something like that. They were trying to build me a new system as aparently the one they gave me was faulty. grrrrrr... They blamed it all to the guy that left them. I check the control panel system icon and at the time i had it, it did show that i have all the right parts but when they check it in the other computer to copy and replaced all of it. It didn't match the 'system icon computer information'.

So i know now that despite of looking in CONTROL PANEL> SYSTEM doesn't mean thats what you get. Since i am embarrasingly computer illiterate, i would like to get some help in finding out what i actually have. I don't trust them anymore. I went to a pcstop website and they weren't very good at telling e what i had because all the time ihad less ghz in my computer it told me that i had what the sytem icon is sying i have. I bought this new game that recommended system 1.8ghz, intel 4, 512mb and 128 video card. This ain't wroking well on this computer. It keeps cutting out and graphics are awful. My computer should have xp media centre (which i don't think it is), intel 4 ht, 3.20ghz and 1gb ram.

i really hope i'm making some sense here. Please help.

This only works with internet explorer and will have some errors with mozila firefox
also if the store has blamed the computer problems on an employee that has left them chances are they A)Made it up,B)Fired him for doing the job right.
I know for a fact that when i was getting my computer built for me they put some faulty hardware in there so i would have to come back and pay for simple repairs but they didn't plan on my knowing the Owner of that store. (CompuSmart)

Hi thanks for the reply! Thats showed them. It just goes to show that some really do take advantage.

I tried that link and found a couple difference but its not as bad as i thought it was going to be. I was right in other, i don't have xp media centre despite of the system info. I should of known since there wasn't any set up instruction anywhere. they gave all the other stuff i need though.. remote control and so on.

And if you got this computer from a global company like future shop,best buy,tigerdirect.ca stuff like those you can contact the main company reps and they will most likely replace the things that were suppose to be in there but arn't.
