hi people, Another question, I downloaded REGCURE the other week and used it. It says it found loads of problems and that it fixed them, people say that this usually speeds your computer up.

It hasn't.

I know sometimes these programs make things worse but there were loads of good reviews about it.

Why else would my heap of junk not be running faster?

I clean my registry although you will get an equal number of opinions from the never touch it crowd.

That being said I've never known a registry clean to speed up or down a computer. Not noticeably anyway.

As far as Internet speeds the best source of cleaning is AdAware and Spybot as well as removing any add on toolbars.
