OK i have world of warcraft (WOW) and i have 720 ram and i still have alot of gameplay lag and many peopl i know have 540 ram or less with no lag . I alo so have lag when i buff down the graphics. so i asked some peopl and they said its either my vid card or my processing speed and once i found out everyone i know who plays with no lag doesnt have that good a vid card but my PC model is 2001 and theres are alot newer than mines so i figured thats why. But then someone told me to end any processes that i dont need that are using alot of mem and i saw a process Explorer.exe that was using 20,000 mem so i ended it and i lsot all my icons and everything but when i continued the game i had ALOT less lag so when i told some peopl they said i might have a virus in Explorer.exe and to use a Virus program to get rid of it. So im doing that now im using NOD32. And i also have 4 SVChost processes running and 1 is using another 20,000 mem so i want to know if , My virus program is the right 1 for my problem and can i end the svchost using 20,000mem? explorer.exe is the windows GUI. (Graphical User Interface) In other words all that you see with XP.

SVChosts are generic processes and XP generally runs five or six at least. One will be massive @ 20,000 at least > this is RPC. Stopping this process will shut down XP.

Your Graphics controller is integrated (on-board). No matter how good it is it is not going to run high end games as they should be run.

You would need an AGP Graphics Card. Is this an HP - Compaq computer?

Otherwise your RAM and CPU should be fine. More RAM is always nice but 760MB is not bad.
