my microphone worked just fine and all of a sudden it stopped working. I tried to find out what could be wrong and finally bought a new microphone and that didnt work either. I am not good with computers and really would like some help. I play cribbage online with my friend in Michigan and really enjoy talking to her while we play instead of typing. I can hear her fine but she no longer can hear me. Please help.

Have you checked the settings under start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio devices

Under Audio or Voice or Test Hardware? There might be a Mic tab also?

Yes, a bunch of times. I am getting very frustrated.
