When I click START then TURN OFF COMPUTER then TURN OFF, my computer shuts down but reboots again just as if I clcked on RESTART. Why??????? Help please!!

Thanks jephree. Have printed that link off and hopefully it will give me a solution once I read it a few times in order to understand it.

my computer does the same thing..try going to hibernate....mine stays off in hibernate mode.....push shift key after going to shutdown screen...click hibernate...only way mine will shut off...tried everything else....no-one has been able to fix it...
