I foolishly reinstalled a copy of XP in the same partition as my original installation, which was damaged. now, I'd like to get rid of the bad copy, but since they're on the same partition, I don't know how. can anyone help?

have you any data you want to keep, have you got the XP disc, have you tried formatting the partition and then doing a clean install?
