    My monitor goes to sleep...

My monitor goes to sleep without any reason whatsoever. It doesn't always happen and only happens only sometimes, normally after i've booted up the computer and past the log in screen, though sometimes it goes to sleep a bit before that...
my graphics card is Inno3D GeForce FX 5200.
and thats about all i know, i think it has something to do with the graphics card, though i haven't tried to use another lead yet but i'll get one and use it when the monitor is asleep.
    Would appreciate help and solutions

    thanks

EDIT: and something else, today when it happened again i found that the screen said something about having the wrong resolution and should be adjust to 1024X something, i dunno if that is a key thing cos it has never happened before normally when it goes to sleep.

You can try a different resolution via:

start > Control Panel > Display > Settings > Screen Resolution

    cheers!

EDIT: went to check it out but i can't find another res that is 1024 x something else, all i have is like 1024 x 748 or something...
and i think the cords are working, but i'll try with another cable as soon as the monitor goes to sleep again.

    thanks again for suggestions
