USB Hub - E:\ not accessible. I/O device error.

I bought a 32 bit USB 2.0 PCI card for my old desktop computer which has USB 1.1 ports on motherboard. When I plug this PCI card into a slot, the computer automatically found a driver for it and then it's ready for use.

However, when I connected a USB 2.0 jump drive with a USB hub on the PCI card, I could not access the files in the jump drive. An error message came out, 'E:\ is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error'. What should I do to fix this problem? Thanks

Try plugging directly into the motherboard's USB port.

Do you get the same error?
