i would llike to knw how do i get a bios code for my machine its an e machine 220 or if i can reset i pls any one help thnks my computer has crashed i cant load the restore disk because i dont knw the bios code pls help thnks

BIOS code? Did you set a BIOS password? If so did you forget it? Or are you asking something else?

Just to follow up: if you need the hotkey to enter the BIOS Setup it is the Delete key for eMachines.

If you set a BIOS password and forgot it clearing the CMOS should clear all BIOS Settings to default.

if you don't know how to clear the CMOS, you will need to reset the jumper. To do this, you would have to open up the computer case, locate the CMOS battery and there should be a jumper right next to it. Take it off, gently so you don't bend the pins, and then wait for like 15 seconds then 'park' the jumper (put it back on)
