hi everyone i am new to this so i will try to discribe my problem as best as i can i have a comercial website and for some reason it will not accept any picture i try to put on it. it keeps putting up an error message that reads(image is not jpeg or gif format) and i have checked this and all my images are in jpeg format i have spoken with the website provider and they tired to upload a picture and managed to do it without any problems so i then went round to my friends house and i manage to do it from there fine too so we came to the conclustion that there is a problem with my computer one person suggested that it is because i have javascript runnig and to disable it but havent a clue how to do it
please please can anyone help me as i am banging my head against a brick wall

also i can upload pictures to a very popular internet auction site with out any problem and i can upload giff formatt pictures to my website but with giff you lose loads of definition and i really want to put jpegs on
also i stared this website about a year and a half ago with a laptop and had no problems with putting jpeg to my website but have since bought a desktop since then have had this problem
i am running windows xp home edition with aol but have tried to upload pictures to my website using internet explorer and firefox and they dont do it either
PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME BEFORE THEY LOCK ME UP IN THE LOONEY BIN
