Hi, I have bought an Advent 7060 laptop, with no user manual, but cannot get any sound out of it. I have sound from my desktop speakers if I plug them into the laptop. I've checked all the controls within the Windows Volume Tool but still no luck.

Any ideas where to go next? I assume the laptop has a built in speaker!

Is this a brand new computer? Or second hand?

If brand new I would return it and demand a working computer.

If second hand we could try to track down the SiS drivers for audio.
